Hi friend, I’m Ripple.
Welcome to my reef. This is where I swim, learn, and practice being brave. I am a small blue fish with bright scales, a little yellow fin, and a few freckles on my cheeks. I love exploring, playing, and helping kids understand their feelings, especially the ones that show up around school.
Sometimes I get nervous too. New teachers, new friends, loud mornings, or days when my tummy feels wiggly. That is why I wanted to share what helps me feel calmer and more confident. If you ever feel that way, I want you to know I get it.
Where Ripple Came From (For Grown-Ups)
Ripple was created by two child and family therapists, Jena and Nicole, from PFECT. They spend their days helping kids and parents who face school anxiety, school refusal, or those everyday jitters that make mornings hard. They wanted a friendly guide that kids could trust, learn from, and feel connected to. Ripple came to life as a gentle character who makes big feelings easier to talk about.
Ripple is here to help families build simple routines, practice coping strategies, and feel supported as they grow. He is not a therapist, but he is a helper who makes the journey feel lighter.
What Ripple Believes
Every kid can be brave in small ways every day.
Big feelings are normal and never something to hide.
Talking about worries makes them easier to handle.
Trying again is a superpower.
Grown-ups and kids can learn brave steps together.
How Ripple Helps Kiddos and Families
Ripple teaches:
calming breaths and grounding skills
how to talk about feelings
how to handle “I don’t want to go” mornings
how to break big tasks into small steps
how to feel confident with new routines
how to celebrate brave moments
Families can use Ripple’s guides, worksheets, and stories at home, at school, or in therapy to support kids ages four through ten.
Come Swim With Me
I am always learning new brave steps, and I love sharing them with kids who feel just like me. You can swim through my reef any time you need a reminder that you are strong, smart, and not alone. I am cheering for you already.
Love,
Ripple
